DIGITALIZATION

DIGITALIZATION

There is never enough comfort. Today we already have lots of digital services at our disposal. But imagine that every interaction with the state will take place just in one click. Each of us has the opportunity to quickly and easily register as a private entrepreneur, report the place of residence, get an e-passport ― all these activities can be done in one step in a "paperless" regime. So, what else?

The presentation of the new state digital products and initiatives will be held at the Forum “Ukraine 30. Digitalization,” which will go through May 17-19, 2021. These initiatives include new e-services for drivers and property developers, a mobile version of the DiyaID electronic signature, automatic registration of private entrepreneurs without a state registrar, and many other interesting things that will make our lives easier.

In the near future, Ukraine plans to digitally transform such priority areas as healthcare, social security, taxes, and education. In addition to this, the plan involves the digital transformation of Ukraine's environmental sector, as well as the construction industry and large industrial enterprises.

What is the digital potential of Ukraine? These are local IT professionals and startups for which the state will create a convenient tax and legal environment. Such support will help strengthen the IT industry, increase its share in the country's GDP and attract more investment.

How exactly should we support technological development to transform the country into a new IT hub in the heart of Europe? How will Ukraine's digital economy and market transform after integration into the EU's digital market, and what joint initiatives already exist today? Find all the answers at the Forum "Ukraine 30. Digitalization."

The Forum aims to bring the following issues to discussion:

Potential and priorities for the future of digital literacy and education, an e-school system;

Migrating to a paperless regime and a ban on paper documents;

Digital transformation of industries, companies and the positive implications of these processes that include reduced corruption levels, new opportunities for the development of smart cities, improved environmental performance;

Involvement of the country’s regions in digital transformation processes, in particular infrastructure development, provision of high-speed Internet; providing international and state support for these processes;

Equal access to digital products and services for the public, creation of new opportunities for different genders and people with disabilities;

Cybersecurity and development of the personal data protection system for Ukrainian citizens.
